Nathan the big brother

Nathan has officially become a big brother for over 2 weeks now, and we've been pleasantly surprised at how loving he is towards his little bro. He generously gives Evan kisses (hence plenty of germs too) and has definitely accepted him as a member of the family.

He hasn't shown any signs of jealously yet (knock on wood), and when 弟弟 cries he says "妈妈喂弟弟" (mommy feed Evan). Nathan also gets excited at any small movement or sound Evan makes (which is rare since he's sleeps most of the day), and thinks it's "funny". He can get quite possessive of 弟弟. The other day when grandma was holding 弟弟, Nathan got quite upset and kept yelling "妈妈抱" (mommy hold).

Both Sarah and James has noticed that at the park he's all of a sudden more well behaved and doesn't hit other kids as much (used to be our biggest headache). It's as if he all of a sudden grew up.
