Pretend play

I am often pleasantly surprised by what comes out of Nathan's imagination.

The other day, he put a ball on top of his cup, and called it an ice-cream cone. He was very specific too, it's chocolate ice-cream on top, and strawberry ice-cream on the bottom. I thought it was brilliant!

Other examples:
- Putting three blocks together makes a pillow. He even made sure the colors at the end match, and made pillows for mommy and daddy too.
- He "stole" one of Evan's ready-made formula bottles and played with it for the longest time in his kitchen making "vvvroom, vvvroom" noises. Afterwards we learned he was pretending it's a blender and making smoothie with it.
