What is man?

The weather is pretty warm these days, so both Nathan and James have started wearing shorts. Nathan makes an interesting observation:

Nathan: Daddy, why do you have hair on your legs?
James: Because I'm a man.
Nathan: You're a grownup, you're Dad... you're not a man!
