Chinese

My attempts to teach Nathan how to write a few Chinese characters today did not go so well. He started throwing a fit yelling "I am not Chinese." I started explaining to him how he's half Chinese but that made him even more upset.

I did manage to get his interest in one character 电 (electricity), but that lasted for a minute tops and back to the screaming and protesting. I think this was a sad glimpse of the next 14 years...
