Not a happy camper

Poor little Nathan got his first cold last week and was rather miserable for a few days. His nose got all stuffed up (especially at night) and kept waking up every hour or so from difficulty breathing. Being paranoid first time parents, we took him to see the doctor right away. He didn't have a fever so that was good. We ended up getting a humidifier for his room which helped a bit, and elevating his head in his sleep. He was significantly better by day 3 after 2 nights of rather miserable sleep (for us as well). At one point the only way to get him to sleep was to lie on one of us so we took turns doing that.
Cold/flu season is definitely upon us and I have a feeling this might be one of many episodes this winter. Well at least we're a little more prepared mentally now.
